The Big Ten Educators

Technology and Learning over in the USA has published a list of its choice of the top ten people in education. The list makes for interesting reading.

The list covers only the USA, but that’s OK: I think selecting the top ten educators globally would be even more difficult than selecting them from one country alone. Something I like about the list is that alol the people featured on it have identified a problem or an issue, and rolled their sleeves up and set about solving it to the best of their ability. Rather different, I think, from the people I mentioned in 7 questions to ask about big name speakers at education technology conferences: you know, the people who say

There’s a problem in education and somebody needs to do something about it.

Good to see my friend Shelly Terrell on the list!

Here’s the list: The Big Ten
