The London Book Fair 2018, and why you should be interested

The London Book Fair this year runs from the 10th to the 12th of April, at Olympia. So why am I telling you, an ed techie, about it? Three reasons:

First, I'm a great advocate of using books and ebooks in classrooms. See, for example, 7 reasons to have an education technology library, 5 reasons to have a computing news section of your lessons, and 9 ways to make your Computing classroom 'immersive'.

Secondly, I think self-publishing is a fascinating area. I've been self-publishing books for 25 years and there is always something new to learn as the landscape changes.

Thirdly, the changes in the book publishing industry are interesting to know about because of their implications for education, and especially in the areas of digital resources and ebooks.
